Jesus Zeus Salas has a few tips for those who want to get their music out there, with the goal of securing a contract with an agent and record label.
Develop your talent. Before you even think about getting in touch with record labels, put in the hard work that will make your music irresistible. Jesus Zeus Salas knows that it can be temping to drive right in, but developing a unique sound and personality now will make you more distinctive and attractive to labels later on.
Create a following. Record labels want to know that you’re going to be a good investment. Jesus Zeus Salas recommends playing live shows in your home city to drum up a following. In addition, and Jesus Zeus Salas cannot stress enough the importance to develop a strong online and social media presence.
